Disparidades

When one person killed another, 2 out of every 100 were found justified
When a white person killed a black man, 17 out of 100 were found justified
In almost 17% of cases when a black man was killed by a white civilian over the last three decades, the killing was categorized as "justifiable."
That disparity persists across different cities, different ages, different weapons and different relationships between killer and victim.
